ABOUT THIS BOOK

This book describes briefly Tariqah Ahmadiyyah which is widely spread among Muslims in Malaysia, particularly in Kelantan. Its members are comprised of religious experts ('ulama) and common people. The popularity of this tariqah among the Muslims in Kelantan has greatly amazed observers. Hence, this book is mainly to discover the special quality of the tariqah which has able to influence and draw great numbers of the population.

Since 1979, there has been two branches of Tariqah Ahmadiyyah in Kelantan. First the Bukit Abal branch of Pasir Puteh and second the Negeri Sembilan branch, with its center at Atas Banggul, Kota Bharu.

To complete this book, the writer himself conducted several interviews with the Shaykhs of the tariqah, its members and some ulamas. He also participated on various occasions in the dzikr halaqas at both branches.
